Ghetto mask ideas part 2. Green Lantern crab mask

Back again with a how to for my favorite Green Lantern Kyle Rayner's "crab" mask.  This could be extremely cheap to free depending on what materials you already have.  For this I only need to buy the metallic emerald green paint, and that was about $3.00 on ebay.

What you'll need:

cardboard
green paint
glue
newspaper
a pair of cheap sunglasses
scissors
tape
bowl
optional: white paper, string

comic book inspired wrestling art.

This is a comic book inspired image that I made starring WWE diva AJ Lee, it also features diva Kaitlyn and Hornswoggle this image was based off of X-men #101.

This one was based around the Batman Hush trade paperback cover.  It features CM Punk in place of Batman, John Cena in place of Superman (naturally).  Beth Phoenix and Natalya in place of Catwoman and Huntress, Miz in place of Harley Quinn (?????).  I came up with this idea because of the whole CM Punk/conspiracy angle and I thought it fit good with Hush, hell on Punk's twitter he likes to say he is confused with Batman.

Ghetto mask ideas part 1. Cyclops

This is part 1 of a series of posts I'll be doing on how to make, cheap masks for Halloween, if you are like me you love Halloween, love comic books, and are flat out broke.  Some characters can be fairly easy to shop for but others can prove to be kind of difficult to achieve.  Like today's subject Cyclops of the x-men, getting a good visor for Cyclops can be quite pricey or very time consuming if going with the pepakura route.  I'm hoping this will help get a decent look for very little cost and less time.

What you'll need
1 pair of cheap sunglasses
1-2 bottles of elmers glue
1 roll of tape
2 plastic cups (mcdonald's Large)
some cardboard, newspaper and sandpaper.

October aka the most wonderful time of the year.

Well it is officially October which for me means it is the most wonderful time of the year.  I've always been  a big fan of Halloween ever since I was a little kid, maybe it was the free candy or maybe it's the idea of pretending to be someone else for a day, or getting the crap scared out of you I don't know but I've always loved it.
